SUNBRIGHT GM-034EX is a PEGylated lipid (commonly known as DMG-PEG3400) designed to enhance stability and efficiency of lipid nanoparticle (LNP) drug delivery systems. It features two C14:0 fatty acids (14 carbon atoms, no double bonds, myristic acid) connected at the 1- and 2-positions of a glycerol backbone, and a polyethylene glycol (PEG) chain of 3,400 Da linked at the 3-position. By incorporating polyethylene glycol (PEG) into the surface of LNPs, it improves the stability and circulation time of LNPs in the bloodstream, facilitating efficient delivery of encapsulated therapeutic agents such as mRNA, siRNA, and other nucleic acids.
