ex vivo/in vivo evaluation of the selective uptake of the tLNP
(A) The tLNP are taken up by LECs (Lymphatic endothelial cells) with a higher efficiency than ntLNP, whereas in BEC (blood endothelial cells), the uptake of tLNP was comparable to that of ntLNP.
(B) The uptake was significantly enhanced only by the anti-mouse PDPN antibody modification, and not in the anti-human PDPN-modified group (negative control).
(C) The fluorescence from the tLNP was selectively localized in the lymphatic vasculature (PDPN/CD31-double positive region), while no localization in this region was observed in the case of the ntLNP
