SUNBRIGHT® MENP-20H is a methoxy PEG p-nitrophenyl carbonate with a 2,000 Da PEG chain. The p-nitrophenyl carbonate group reacts with amine-containing molecules to form a stable carbamate bond. After PEGylation, the formed carbamate bond is relatively resistant to hydrolysis, making it suitable for the applications that require prolonged stability under aqueous or physiological conditions.
